This is the scoring sheet that will be used to rank the entries.

Impact: (5 points possible)

1. Narrative has no impact on reader
2. Narrative has little impact on reader
3. Narrative has some impact on reader
4. Narrative has strong impact on reader
5. Narrative has very strong impact on reader

Imagery: (5 points possible)

1. Author uses no imagery or only confusing images
2. Author uses few images
3. Author uses some imagery
4. Author uses many effective images
5. Author uses very effective imagery through the whole piece

Clarity: (5 points possible)

1. Author's meaning is not understandable
2. Author's meaning is usually confusing
3. Author's meaning is sometimes clear
4. Author's meaning is usually clear
5. Entire narrative is very clear

Diversity: (5 points possible)

The final narratives will be chosen to reflect the diversity of the coalition that elected Barack Obama. Geographic, political, ethnic, economic, and other factors will be considered.
